Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant - Wealth Management performs a wide variety of administrative support duties for the Senior Director, Wealth Management Operations and Senior Vice President of Wealth Management. This role handles day-to-day heavy client calls/transactions and problem solving; escalating items beyond specified authority to the assigned Trust Officer.

Role And Responsibilities
  • Position entails heavy phones, customer contact and other support functions
  • Deals with confidential and sensitive documentation regarding client functions
  • Interacts with bank associates and various personnel for the Trust back office vendor
  • Handles questions and paperwork from Trust Officers
  • Prepares and maintains various reports and tracking logs for the Operations Manager
  • General account maintenance
  • Assists the Senior Vice President of Wealth Management as needed
  • Prepares and takes minutes for various committees
  • Handles office mail, filing, orders supplies
  • Process heavy bill pay, wire transfers, and deposits
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent related experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of responsible administrative support, heavy phone skills, analytic skills and tracking reports
  • Experience preferred in the trust operations/wealth management environment
  • Must be able to multitask and willing to be flexible
  • Must have good critical thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
  • Demonstrate excellent client/ customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication and written skills
  • Ability to work well with a fast paced, dynamic, team based environment
