As an Alterations Specialist, your main focus is to enhance the shopping experience for our Guests by providing high-quality alterations. You will perform various duties, such as hemming jeans and pants, to meet the specific needs of our customers.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range: $16.90-$18/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This outline is a general overview of tasks for the Alterations Specialist. Successful performance of essential duties is required, and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities:
- Complete quality alterations for merchandise while ensuring guest specifications are met.
- Utilize Buckle’s sewing machines and supplies for alterations.
- Adhere to productivity guidelines, typically four jean alterations per hour.
- Maintain an organized and stocked work area and report supply needs.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and teamwork, in alignment with Buckle’s mission.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not involve supervisory duties.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED; related sewing and alteration experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old due to job functions.
Physical Demands
Regular duties require standing, handling materials, measuring, and using tools. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a retail store setting with a moderate noise level.
