OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Applications Specialist specializing in PET CT and diagnostic CT systems. In this essential role, you will engage with healthcare professionals, ensuring they maximize the effectiveness and satisfaction derived from the CMSU products they have acquired. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining enduring partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver on-site applications training for PET CT and diagnostic CT systems across various healthcare facilities in the United States.

  • Develop comprehensive training plans and facilitate the training process for doctors, nurses, and technologists, enabling optimal use of CMSU products and services.

  • Consult with medical professionals to implement best clinical practices, focusing on improving workflow, image acquisition, protocols, and image quality to boost customer satisfaction.

  • Assess and identify any additional training needs of clients, and prepare tailored training sessions as required.

  • Act as the primary clinical contact for CMSU at each location, ensuring ongoing support and addressing any further training needs.

  • Compile site reports to document daily training activities and follow up accordingly.

  • Facilitate pre- and post-communications for both internal teams and external customers.

  • Maintain your technical and clinical expertise through continuous education.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues impacting system performance and image quality.

  • Escalate any unresolved concerns related to system performance and quality as necessary.

  • Coordinate with service engineers when needed to ensure prompt resolution of issues.

  • Complete necessary Alerts and PCRs when applicable.

  • Provide mid-week updates to Applications Management and the local Canon Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification such as CNMT or ARRT (N) with PET CT experience, along with ARRT (CT) or eligibility in CT.

  • Strong project management capabilities.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Aptitude for engaging presentations and platform skills.

  • Prior teaching experience is advantageous.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license from your state of residence.

  • Associate degree (2 Year) as a Radiologic Technologist in the relevant modality.

  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or imaging center.

  • Preference for candidates residing in the Midwest region.

  • This position requires significant travel—up to 90% weekly.

  • Salary Range: $80K - $129K, based on experience
