Job Description

Our client, a distinguished law firm recognised for its excellence in corporate and transactional law, is seeking a Corporate Partner to join their esteemed team. Their Corporate practice offers a comprehensive range of legal services, guiding clients through every stage of their business lifecycle with strategic counsel and personalised solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the corporate practice, providing strategic direction and oversight to attorneys.
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of corporate matters.
  • Serve as outside general counsel, offering ongoing support and counsel to clients to address their day-to-day legal needs.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts and transactions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Advise on joint ventures, strategic alliances, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, facilitating successful transactions for clients.
  • Develop and implement employee stock ownership plans and provide private equity services to clients.
  • Assist clients in developing exit strategies and succession plans to achieve their long-term goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing insightful legal counsel tailored to their specific needs and objectives.


Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida bar.
  • Extensive experience practicing corporate and transactional law, with a focus on providing strategic counsel to clients.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and structuring complex commercial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Business acumen and ability to provide legal advice aligned with client's business objectives.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior attorneys is preferred.
