Job Description


The Graphic Designer (GD) is responsible for a broad range of creative services, which includes implementing the design, layout and production of marketing deliverables. Working within established corporate brand guidelines, the Graphic Designer provides creative input to create engaging and onbrand graphics for a variety of media. Projects may consist of, but are not be limited to, electronic and print ads, digital assets (e.g., social media graphics, e-campaign graphics, TV graphics, website/blog images, etc.), brochures, flyers, presentations and other marketing materials. Responsibilities also include assistance with project and traffic management of the creative workload.


Graphic DesignCreates layouts, graphics, and concepts that add value to advertising, digital and collateral materials; implements and maintains a high standard of design, format and production; adheres to established corporate design standards

Media Library and EditingManages and maintains JAMS digital photo gallery; retouches images and prepares high quality, scalable, photo files for web and print

CreativityAdds creative input that enhances job materials; develops innovative design layouts across all media types while preserving brand integrity andawareness

Project/Traffic ManagementOrganizes a high number of active projects, prioritizes workload to meet various deadlines, demonstrates flexibility, and efficiency in dealing with frequent rush jobs and changing priorities

Team ProjectsActively contributes to marketing initiatives, communicates and collaborates effectively with the other Marketing team members, project leads, and outside vendors, in support of accurate and on-time product delivery

Industry KnowledgeDevelops a working knowledge of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and the legal industry in order to add creative input that enhances materials


Education/Experience- A Bachelor's degree in design, graphics or the creative arts, is preferred- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience working as a graphic designer in a corporate branded environment- A professional portfolio which adequately displays in-depth knowledge of graphic design, illustration, typographic and marketing communications principles, print production processes, is required- Working knowledge of video editing within professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects), a plus

Essential Job Requirements- Talking with staff, panelists, and vendors over the phone or face-to-face for extended periods of time- Effectively communicate on JAMS Marketing solutions and initiatives, as appropriate, within the scope of the role- Working on the computer for extended periods of time- Local and occasional regional travel
