Join American Civil Constructors West Coast! Established in 1987, we are a leading Heavy Civil Construction company specializing in infrastructure projects across the United States. We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality construction services.

This position is based in our Benicia, CA office, and candidates can expect an average of 25% travel to various worksites. We provide relocation assistance, a company vehicle, fuel card, meals, and lodging during overnight travel.

As a part of MasTec's Clean Energy & Infrastructure segment, we offer opportunities for growth through our Fortune 500 parent company. Our team focuses on retrofitting and repairing bridges, as well as executing specialized pavement overlays for DOTs and Public Works Agencies nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules, production tracking, and inventory oversight.
  • Oversee subcontracts and purchase orders to ensure project efficiency.
  • Coordinate and supervise varied work schedules and crew mobilizations.
  • Collaborate closely with project owners, prime contractors, inspectors, field engineers, and other stakeholders to successfully complete construction projects.

Qualifications:

Project Manager I:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management (other degrees considered case-by-case).
  • 2-5 years of relevant construction experience.

Project Manager II:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management (other degrees considered case-by-case).
  • 5+ years of relevant construction experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a dynamic construction environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, good team collaboration, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
