On-Call Counselor for Military & Family Life

Description

An opportunity to provide counseling and behavioral health support to military Service Members and their families without the hassle of paperwork. We are seeking flexible, ready-to-serve counselors for short-term or as-needed coverage at various military installations and communities. Join as a Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) MFLC to focus on your passion for helping others without administrative burdens. This is an interim position to positively impact the lives of those who serve our Nation, and additional opportunities are available throughout the program year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families
• Recommend appropriate referrals and handoffs based on clinical skills
• Offer presentations to address social skills development and social emotional learning
• Build rapport with service members, spouses, and children by attending installation and community events
• Assist families and children with challenges specific to the military community

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions
• Licensure to practice at the independent level in the U.S.
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Ability to pass a basic background check and obtain clearance

Full-time work on a part-time basis. Join us in making an impact!

Pay Range:

$28/hr. - $50/hr.
