Location Status: Work will be primarily performed onsite in our office. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or other off-site locations may be required.

Position Impact:

The OSP Inventory Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining all Outside Plant WAM inventory across OSP lay down yards. This role ensures accurate tracking of materials being received, stored, and issued, supporting field operations and project teams. The position serves as the primary point of contact for inventory movement and delivery coordination, while working closely with project managers, lay down yard coordinators, and vendors to ensure materials are properly accounted for and available when needed. This role also supports administrative purchasing functions and inventory reporting to maintain operational efficiency and supply continuity.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
Minimum of 18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
A valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory
Experience in inventory management logistics warehouse operations or construction materials coordination preferred
Familiarity with OSP materials or telecom infrastructure strongly preferred
Experience with inventory management systems such as WAM or similar platforms preferred
Strong organizational and record keeping skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with project managers vendors and field teams
Basic knowledge of purchasing processes including PR and PO workflows preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced operational environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software
The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication
Spanish language proficiency a plus

Skills:
Proficient use of MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; teleconferencing applications
Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Management and Control
Receive, track and issue all OSP materials across lay down yards using WAM or related inventory systems
Maintain accurate records of material check-in and check-out activity
Monitor inventory levels and proactively notify stakeholders when stock is low or replenishment is required
Ensure proper organization and accountability of materials across multiple lay down yard locations

Coordination and Communication
Serve as primary point of contact for all lay down yard deliveries and material movement
Work closely with project managers and lay down yard coordinators to align incoming and outgoing material needs
Coordinate delivery schedules and confirm material distribution to appropriate teams or projects
Communicate inventory status updates to internal stakeholders as needed

Purchasing and Administrative Support
Assist with processing purchase requisitions PRs and purchase orders POs as needed
Support administrative tasks related to inventory tracking reporting and documentation
Maintain accurate records for audits reporting and compliance purposes

Operational Support
Support efficient material flow to ensure field teams have timely access to required inventory
Assist in resolving discrepancies in inventory counts or delivery records
Contribute to process improvements for inventory management and yard operations

Vehicle Maintenance and Travel:
Maintains vehicle/equipment pre-op/post-op to be prepared to perform required duties
Maintains a clean driving record as defined by the current fleet insurance underwriter
Spends a significant portion of the workday traveling in a vehicle visiting various locations and spending time both indoors and outdoors, including businesses and/or residents depending on the nature of the job
May be required to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies, or be on-call as needed to ensure work is completed
