This exciting opportunity for a Perioperative Services Nurse Manager is with a great, Joint Commission Accredited, not-for-profit hospital that is part of a dynamic, award-winning Healthcare System. 

The Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Surgical and Procedural Services. This ambitious Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will lead a team of RNs in the Operating Rooms and Pre/Post recovery bays. The Manager will be supported by a strong CNOR Operating Room Assistant Manager and a CPAN PACU Nursing Supervisor. This position will also work closely with the business manager to develop a budget for the Surgery Department.

The Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will manage 8 OR suites and will oversee beds in PreOp and PACU/Recovery. This is a busy department that offers a wide range of services and performs hundreds of procedures per month. This nurse manager will have the exciting opportunity to work with an energetic team of charge nurses, physicians, staff RNs, CNORs, and other perioperative professionals. 

As an expert resource and role model for an amazing staff, the Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will create and evaluate policies and procedures based on clinical practice guidelines. This position will also support ongoing education and professional growth of self and staff. In addition, the Perioperative Nurse Manager will facilitate interdepartmental relationships to support the mission, vision, and goals of the Perioperative Department while actively monitoring the quality and safety of the units within the department.
