Essential Responsibilities

Recruiting Duties:
  • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites and through ATS
  • Maintain ATS upkeep and cleanliness
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media
  • Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
  • Conduct phone screen interviews
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods, process and interview questions
  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
  • Attend job fairs and careers events
HR Duties:
  • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
  • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
  • Maintain HRIS to ensure employee files are complete and up-to-date
  • Perform customer service function by answering employee requests and questions
  • Complete Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
  • Assists with processing of terminations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruiting & HR
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiting coordinator or recruiter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
  • Basic understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Familiarity with HR databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Experience with Workable (ATS) & ADP (HRIS/Payroll) a plus
