Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Senior Aerospace Systems Capture Manager to drive profitable growth in the defense sector. The ideal candidate will lead the full capture life-cycle for multiple simultaneous pursuits with government research and development customers, ultimately securing contracts and programs of record. This is a remote work position with the flexibility to be based in Huntsville, AB, Chantilly, VA, or San Diego, CA.

• Develop, organize, and execute significant capture activities
• Coalesce with team members, operational leadership, and subject matter experts
• Identify and validate customer requirements
• Mentor other capture, business development, and operations professionals

Basic Qualifications:

• BA degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 13+ years of relevant experience
• Leadership skills in capturing new and existing customers
• Knowledge of Department of Defense, RDT&E Community
• Experience with federal government budgets and acquisition processes
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and automated tools for presentations and reporting
