Essential Job Functions

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising a dynamic team to optimize guest service, food quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage shifts effectively, supporting the execution of company policies and procedures.
  • Understand all station functions and the necessary paperwork for tracking performance.
  • Supervise a team of 1 to 7 members while ensuring compliance with company objectives.
  • Uphold all food safety, cleanliness, and operational guidelines during shifts.
  • Help cultivate a workplace environment that is recognized as an 'Employer of Choice.'
  • Provide leadership and support to nurture team development and training.
  • Assist in staffing decisions, including interviewing and disciplinary actions.
  • Deliver exceptional results in quality, guest service, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Exhibit a cheerful and approachable demeanor.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our menu items and effectively communicate with guests.
  • Utilize the Point of Sale system accurately for order management and payments.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards for food handling and cleanliness.
  • Follow all company operational policies and suggest improvements for restaurant efficiency.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold grooming standards.
  • Participate in training and development meetings as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 1-2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant or related guest service industry, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction and training excellence.
  • Proven ability to be a collaborative leader, providing quality service and support to both management and staff.
  • Skill in managing multiple tasks with effective follow-through.
  • Ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve collective goals.
  • General proficiency in computer systems and basic business math; cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to assess workplace safety hazards according to company standards.
  • Strong communication skills for building effective relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Implement and oversee training and development plans for staff.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Open availability for varying shifts as required.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing responsibilities and circumstances.

Experience, Education & Training

  • Must hold a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a quick service restaurant or guest service environment is preferred.
  • Food Handler certification may be required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift, including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $21.75 - $24.75
