Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) provides onsite managed services for a large tech video-sharing platform. We are seeking an experienced Social Art Director to join our team and sit onsite or remote with our client in Playa Vista, CA. Partnering with a Social Copywriter, the Social Art Director will deliver best-in-class social advertising campaigns as part of the in-house creative marketing studio for a large video-sharing platform. The goal of this studio is to shape people's perceptions of the brand and inspire them to engage. The studio is responsible for all of the brand's marketing activities to consumers, creators, and key opinion influencers. Reporting directly to the Creative Leads, the Social Art Director will concept social first campaigns as well as social extensions to larger brand campaigns. This person should live and breathe all aspects of social media, staying aware of current trends and conversations, with the ability to interpret those trends into creative advertising. This person should also be able to set new trends in social advertising, bringing innovative ideas and executions that cut through the clutter. Must show proven ability to concept and execute breakthrough social brand campaigns. The Social Art Director will liaise directly with the internal editorial and design teams to provide creative feedback. They will also oversee external creative agencies and vendors in the production of creative assets (where applicable). Must have excellent communication, presentation skills to liaise with senior leadership throughout the organization, and have the ability to clearly articulate a creative idea and how it applies to pertinent aspects of the business. Position can be remote. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Generate compelling, innovative social creative for client's brand. + Work alongside Social Copywriter and Creative Leads to develop social marketing campaigns. This will require them to make conceptual and stylistic decisions and create layouts and comps to illustrate their idea to other members of the team or management. + Create visual identities for both campaigns and individual 360° executions + Supervise graphics and edit sessions + Work with external agencies and vendors to produce social campaign creative. + Effectively build and manage relationships with internal marketing stakeholders + Work in close partnership with senior leadership to provide social creative that is both strategically and creatively exceptional. + Liaise regularly with marketing team to ensure creative is strategically aligned across all platforms and is on time REQUIREMENTS: + 3 - 5 years experience art directing breakthrough social campaigns for brands + Creative agency experience preferred + Exceptional portfolio of creative work + Exceptional design skills + Strong comprehension of social marketing strategy and exceptional campaign development + Strong understanding of storytelling/narrative structure, pacing, graphics, music, shot selection and all key aspects of audio visual content. + Ability to juggle multiple projects through all phases of production with strong organizational skills. + Demonstrate excellent creative instincts/judgement. + Receptive to constructive feedback and problem solving + Thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.
