Responsible for IT software administration, and assists with contract and accounting tasks as needed. Duties include but are not limited to: managing IT software approval, managing software licensing, auditing license, managing license renewals, coordinating with the Staff Accountant and IT Business Manager to ensure new licenses and renewals are factored in the budget for IT, identify, coordinate, and facilitate IT contract processing for software needs, acting as a backup for the Senior Staff Accountant for Accounts Payable processing and other accounting functions, acting as the backup for the IT procurement Analyst for procurement workflow tasks, acting as aa backup as Reception for the IT department, driving to various off-site locations to record asset information. Perform other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / PreferencesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline and experience in administrative duties.ORAssociate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline and two (2) years in experience in administrative duties.ORHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent and four (4) years in experience in administrative duties.Must possess a valid State of Alaska driver's license at time of hire.Satisfactory Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background within 6 months of hire.Additional Important InformationThe Municipality of Anchorage participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-verify Program.
